"Alright Stop! Collaborate and Listen!....." well, well, well, if this didn’t ring a bell to you, then maybe you are not as “Hip” as the hit during our high school days. Yes, our UPIS NAYNTITU days! Starting to reminisce the good ole days? I knew it! OK, enough about prologues here, let me continue by sharing with you guys what happened last night…

“Guess what you know last night…” (another “hit” during our times huh!) Stop it Andrew! Oh well, yesterday was Rizal Day, but that’s not the reason for this piece. Last night was a gathering of people, who at one time in their lives shared notes, works, moments, memories and dreams. People who belonged to what our great hero described as the “Future of the Nation”. Now tell me that I’ve made a right connection with yesterday’s national holiday to “UPIS 92’s holidays-gathering”

Yes, there was a UPIS 92 “mini-reunion”, held last night at Friday’s in Tomas Morato, QC. and Sharky's at Timog (continuation). Kudos to Pong (oo, di sya nang-indian this time, hehe! Peace bro!) and other batch mates who made it possible. Practically well-attended for a short-noticed affair.

A great evening I should say as everyone enjoyed the food, beer and of course the people. It was a night of recollection, fun, laughter, teasing etc. there was even an instance where Alvin G gave an impromptu “stand-up-comedy act” with the help of the hard bound memorabilia called “SULYAP 92” yes, someone brought a copy of our beloved yearbook! I think it was Arlene Cardenas who did.

By the way, a new boy group was also introduced last night, they are called the “Tsunami Boyz” (Phuket version) I think Pong stole a shot of this three-member group, so better check out our egroup photo album to find out why they are called as such. Kaya talaga dapat ma-post mo agad pong. Ok sige hint, take a closer look at their hairstyles. Hehe!:-)

Now, it’s Chika-Minute time… drum roll please….. tadaaaan! Congratulations to Che Punzalan-Lopez, nadiscover nya hindi pala siya bakla kla-kla-kla-kla-kla!, babae pala talaga siya! Buntis siya! J Congrats also to Monching Carranza, buntis din siya… ah este wife niya pala! Hehe! Also to Dale Villajuan also, who recently became a father to a beautiful (buti mana sa nanay! Hehe!) baby girl. What else? Yun lang maalala ko for now, kaya pipol just fill us in with updates.

Basta, maraming nangyaring maganda last night. MASAYA! Sana maulit muli… teka kanta ng kapanahunan na naman natin yun ah! J Yun lang, gusto ko lang magsulat. Sulat na lang din kayo para masaya! Kung nagustuhan nyo ‘to thank you, kung hindi, wala na kong magagawa dun, salamat na lang sa pagbasa! Hehe!
